Arches wasn't the focus of this particular trip to Moab, but seeing as it is so close to the city we ended up there a couple times over the course of the week.  We drove all day Monday through the snow and raced in to try to catch a little bit of the sunset on our first night there.

Even though there are a supposed 2,000+ arches in the park it is really rare to have one all to yourself.  We were here in July two years ago and you were basically in a conga line to each arch.  This trip was very different.  December in the snow when it was a balmy 10 degrees allowed us to carve out 15 minutes of alone time with Double Arch.  It wasn't long until another brave soul came along and was nice enough to take a picture.
