The Badlands are an extremely interesting place.  A place that made me curious enough to drive 7 hours across Wyoming/South Dakota against 40 mph winds to get to.  A place that after leaving I still want to know more about.

This area used to be a warm, shallow sea and is a hot bed for finding fossils.  I highly recommend going through the small museum at the visitor center to see some fossils and gain some insight to what use to roam the area thousands of years ago...
