Horseshoe bend is located about 10 minutes south of Page, AZ.  Here the Colorado River has carved a 1,000 foot deep horseshoe that is an easy 1/2 mile hike to get to (GPS Route Here).  During our first trip through Page our attempt at seeing the bend was met by a sudden snowstorm.

We would head back a month or so later and the weather was much more cooperative...
