Mt. Democrat, Mt. Cameron & Mt. Lincoln
Jenni was feeling a bit under the weather so I took the opportunity to go on an overly ambitious trip to try my first multi 14er hike. It used to be possible to hit four 14ers in under 10 miles, but Mt. Bross is currently closed to the public. Now you can hit a loop that brings you to the summit of Mt. Democrat, Mt. Cameron, and Mt. Lincoln.
Quick Facts:
- Total Distance: ~7.5 miles
- Trailhead Elevation: 12,000 Ft.
- AEG ~3,700

These last couple were taken on the way to Mt. Lincoln, although by this point I was pretty tired and not taking very many photos. I was also doing a lot of sitting in the snow and examining my choice to head to the third 14er of the day. Normally I would say this route isn't very hard, especially as far as 14ers go, but after a short hiatus I realize i'm not in the hiking shape I was at the beginning of the summer.
