Missouri Pass - Fancy Pass Loop

Missouri Pass is one of those 'Best of Colorado' hikes. In a little over 9 miles it takes you over 2 mountain passes, around half a dozen Alpine Lakes, and through high alpine meadows full of wildflowers. Those passes come at the price of 2,800 ft of elevation gain and certainly earn you those post hike Colorado beers.

The best way to do this hike is to start at the Fancy Pass Trailhead and go counter clockwise returning on the Missouri Pass Trail.
