Garden of the Gods
Impromptu stop at the Garden of the Gods today in Colorado Springs on our way back from the Florissant Fossil Beds. Hard to tell exactly how far we went, but it was around 3 miles as the trails interconnect all of the park. You can find a map and picture guide to the various rock formations here.
Text is a little hard to read but it says:
"The Garden of the Gods Given to the City of Colorado Springs in 1909 by the Children of Charles Elliott Perkins.
In fulfillment of his wish that it be kept forever free to the public"
