Trail Ridge Road usually opens on Memorial Day and crosses from the East Side to the West Side of Rocky Mountain National Park giving you plenty of huge vistas around 11-12k feet....

There are a number of places to get out and just take it in or hike.  We decided to run around a bit on Ute Trail...
