Bisti/De-Na-Zin Badlands
The mystique of badlands with no trails, photogenic hoodoos, and solitude brought to New Mexico to explore the Bisti badlands. This is BLM land so you can certainly camp here. It was April when we went and the weather had been all over the place. As you will see below the weather changed from 55 and sunny to sleet to total snow and 25 in a matter of hours. Take a GPS and carry layers.
