Black Canyon of the Gunnison - North Rim
This was a quick trip spurned by cabin fever and iminate temperature drops. We had been to the South Rim, but decided to go to the even less developed North Rim to see some truly dark skies. We were not disappointed. We rolled into the only campground just after midnight and we're able to still grab a spot. The stars out here are really great, and highly recommend this spot for anyone into stargazing/photography.
